Home Stretch

Five. More. Days.

Does it feel like the time flew by? Or has this month dragged eternal? I won’t lie — there were times when I hid my food journal under the couch cushions and ate whatever I wanted (cough)Trader Joe’s Inside-Out Carrot Cake Cookies(cough) but I would later end up logging it anyway. And in doing so, I learned a few things about my eating habits and how I associate with food. Therein lies the point.

The whole goal of this challenge wasn’t for you to be perfect and obliterate all processed “unclean” foods from your life. It was for you to be able to recognize your unhealthy habits and to work to replace them with better ones. If you did manage to eat clean for the entire month, then you should feel very accomplished! But even if you just learned a few things while you were tripping up the road, and are now motivated to work on them, that’s a great accomplishment too.

So, keep logging right on til the end! Five. More. Days. 🙂
