The next couple months, while certainly merry and full of celebration, are also an easy path to not-so-great habits. Between an increase of stress, the availability of delicious, decadent food, and feeling S.A.D., it’s no wonder that people report an average weight-gain of 5-7 pounds this time of year. (It’s also no wonder that weight loss is the #1 resolution for New Year’s.)
Our goal for November and December is to arm ourselves with coping strategies that don’t involve an entire can of Redi-Whip, learn healthy ingredient swaps for those traditional feast favorites, and beat those winter blues that plague so many of us Northerners. We’ll also be running the annual Hold It For The Holidays challenge, with weigh-ins on Monday, November 19. Watch your email for more details, and check back often for new resources.

Don’t let this be you come January 1!
